"Sambal oelek" is a spicy Indonesian chili paste made from chili peppers, vinegar, and salt.

chose sambal oelek, an Indonesian chile paste, because it's so flavorful and so simple — crushed raw red chiles, a little vinegar, and salt.
Virtually any hot sauce you've got on hand will work —
try sambal oelek, sriracha, gochujang, adobo sauce from canned chipotles in adobo, or sweet chile sauce.
I usually like to go with a little bit of soy sauce (not too much though, the Spam is salty), cracked black pepper, and whatever hot sauce or chile paste I have in the fridge, most
likely sambal oelek.
Make dressing: In measuring cup or bowl whisk together rice wine vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, olive oil, sugar and
