I didn't have the money to get raw almonds / walnuts /
oat flakes / agave.
Oat flour is ground oat groats or
oat flakes.
It is smaller and cooks up more creamy than
oat flakes.
I don't think I chopped them enough because even though I liked the larger
oat flakes, many of the sunflower seeds remained whole and didn't adhere as well as a result (not enough surface on the nut to grip everything).
From a celiac who doesn't tolerate oats, I think I'm going to sub quinoa flakes for
the oat flakes, and grind them to a flour.
