If you're like me, you have one or more complete or even incomplete
sets of measuring cups rolling around in your kitchen drawers.
(* tip - measure your canola before your honey and the honey will pour right
out of the measuring cup *) Bring to low boil.
Firmly press the apricot mixture into the baking pan, using the flat
surface of a measuring cup or drinking glass to create a flat even layer.
Press mixture into the bottom of your prepared pan and so it covers the bottom and is tightly packed (I like to use the bottom
of my measuring cup for this).
Honey and golden syrup are very sticky, so before measuring, spray the
inside of the measuring cup with a non stick cooking spray or use a mild flavored oil.
lol I have a little less than one cup of flax seed meal (AND, it's not golden either) do you think it would come out ok if I fill the
remainder of that measuring cup with a little more almond meal?
One little side note here: It took me forever to peel these apples, and as a result, I don't recommend letting your kids eat apples out
of your measuring cup while you try to peel enough for you pie.
I took the gamble and went through with it, but let as much of the green «dust» settle onto the bottom
of the measuring cup before I poured it into my cooled tea.
Also, I used both liquid and dry measuring cups, but I've come to realize by talking to friends that some of them don't own both types of cups and some don't know that two
types of measuring cups exist.
The only thing I did differently from the recipe was to use an entire jar of peanut butter, because the amount called for would have left a little (and also so I wouldn't have to wash peanut butter
out of my measuring cup) and to beat the whipping cream to soft peaks and then add the peanut butter / sugar mixture to the whipping cream and beat until combined and light and fluffy.
(It will be very sticky) Once you've portioned out all 12 cookies, brush the
bottom of the measuring cup with coconut oil to prevent sticking, and lightly press down on cookies to slightly flatten.
Aside from that, the brewing process involves nothing more than using one
of those measured cups and selecting the beverage size you would like.
I use the bottom
of a measuring cup to help pat it into the pan.
Before you put the bars in the oven push down on the bars as hard as you can with the back
of a measuring cup (rub the back of a measuring cup with some oil so is does not stick to the bars) before baking and then again after they come out of the oven.
Transfer to pan, spreading evenly, and pack down flat with the bottom
of a measuring cup.
Flatten each sausage slightly with a fork or the back
of the measuring cup.
Using a flat surface (such as the bottom
of your measuring cup, smash dough into a 1 / 2 - inch thick circle.
Press the mixture down using the bottom
of a measuring cup or glass to create an even layer.
I think that's a compliment but it's because I use a scoop for the dough and then smash them to about 1/2 inch thick using the back
of my measuring cup.
Flatten each blob slightly with the bottom
of the measuring cup.
