When ready to serve, remove from fridge, stir in a
bit more almond milk if needed and top with apples and peanut butter.
Pulse again, slowly adding
more almond milk as needed to reach desired consistency (somewhere between ice cream and soft - serve).

I made these the other day and they turned out SO dry I needed to add at least a half
cup more almond milk, and even then it was like a thick dough.
Process until it binds together like a dough, you may need
more almond milk depending on what / how much protein powder you use, so just eye it.
If you want it thinner, add
more almond milk per 1/2 teaspoon, or if you want it thicker add more vegan cream cheese.
If the frosting is a little too heavy for spreading over the cake, add a bit
more almond milk until the right consistency.
I put quite a
bit more almond milk in to start with, as I know I prefer porridge slightly runny, and it was perfect — not all «glue like»!
To incorporate peanuts — Replace the almonds with peanuts and the cashews with 1/2 cup of natural peanut butter (you may also need to use a
touch more almond milk).
Reheat as much porridge as you need every morning by heating it up in a small saucepan
with more almond milk or water, stirring, until warm and creamy.
If you do end up making a larger batch to store in the refrigerator, you may need to add
more almond milk when reheating the oatmeal.
It soaks up a lot of moisture, so typically I'll
use more almond milk or less flour than I would when using something like oat or almond flour.
I had to put a
lot more almond milk than regular milk, because you can pour in a lot of almond milk before your coffee stops looking (and tasting) totally black.
(For the doughnuts, add one to three
tsp more almond milk to thin out the frosting and drizzle it over the donuts).
If you notice the smoothie is too thick during blending, add a bit
more almond milk while it's running to get your desired consistency.
I was super pleased with the results, although I did add a tiny bit
more almond milk after about 4 hours because the mixture looked a little dry despite having pushed the oats into the milk mixture like the recipe states.
As before, whizz up in blender or smoothie maker, add a
splash more Almond Milk as necessary to adjust consistency, serve in plastic beaker with a straw!
Bend until combined, gradually add
in more almond milk if needed to achieve more of a smooth texture.
It seemed to much like dough and not batter so I added about 1/4
cup more almond milk and it turned out amazing.
