And while we've seen plenty of pictures of the new Hyundai
Veloster N, its voice was yet to be recorded.
Standard models are efficient at up to 35 mpg, while the Turbo

new Veloster Turbo R - Spec and Turbo Ultimate.
Inside the fresh Hyundai

Veloster models, and it further aids cornering performance.
The base
Veloster comes with a 2.0 - liter I4 good for 147 horsepower and 132 pound - feet of torque, mated to either a six - speed manual or a six - speed automatic.
Though it has aggressive looks and a carnivorous name, a
base Veloster doesn't have much muscle.
The new
Veloster features a comprehensive exterior and interior redesign, powertrain enhancements, and a bevy of new and improved infotainment and connectivity features.
The new Hyundai
Veloster also offers a heads - up display for the first time, projecting a colour image onto a transparent panel mounted behind the instrument panel.

We have already talked about the engine coming to this new model, which should be the 1.6 L Turbo engine just
like Veloster with 7 DCT transmission.
The unique Hyundai
Veloster coupe with its single driver side door and two passenger doors seems to have garnered good reviews.
The base
Veloster gets a 138 - horsepower 1.6 - liter four - cylinder engine which it shares with the less - ambitious Hyundai Accent.
This time around the 2019 Hyundai
Veloster looks a bit more grown up with a more sculpted exterior, but it keeps the fun asymmetrical layout with its two - plus - one door bodystyle.
That's 7.1 L / 100 km, or 6.9 L / 100 km for the six - speed manual

On the tech front, Hyundai is flexing some muscle and

I'd also toss the promising next - generation Hyundai
Veloster into that mix when it arrives later this year.
For 2019, Hyundai aims to correct its past errors with the completely redesign
Veloster lineup.
The body gets modified with N components, so nobody will mistake your exclusive high -
performance Veloster for an everyday one.

The uniqueness of the vehicle has led people who have seen me out more than once to speak up... or friends of mine to * know * that they saw me out and about, since there aren't a ton of
Veloster drivers out there.
While the
Gurnade Veloster Concept on display at SEMA in November won't actually be offered for widespread public sale, but that doesn't mean we can't admire — and long for — its many awesome enhancements.
