Blend
soup with an immersion blender until it is a smooth puree (you could also use a countertop model, being careful not to burn yourself).
With an immersion hand blender or regular blender, puree about 2/3 of the soup, so that the soup has a creamy base with some corn, potato and carrot chunks.
I reduced the amount of water and put all the ingredients in the plastic cup that
came with my immersion blender.
Add all ingredients to a blender or food processor (or a tall container to
use with an immersion blender) and blend until smooth.
When they were completely dried (they'll turn golden), I broke them up with my hands, and then reduced them to a
powder with my immersion blender.
At this point I did a quick
pass with my immersion blender on low to blend up the broccoli a bit, but still leave a good amount of texture.
Working in batches, transfer soup to a blender and blend until smooth (or blend in the
pan with an immersion blender).
If you want to create a theme or narrative for your training, then getting the imagery and terminology right will help
massively with immersion.
A quick
mix with an immersion blender (not a regular blender) after the sauce has thickened will take care of them in no time.
